Software engineering · Finance, ERP and banking

We build software for finance teams and the ERP systems they depend on.

Panfidea was founded in 2026. We bring together two skills that are usually kept apart: building software, and understanding how finance and ERP systems really work. Your team spends less time explaining the business to developers, and gets software that fits the way you already work.

ERP systems

We set up, extend and connect the systems that run finance and daily operations. When a standard feature does not match your process, we build the part that is missing.

Connecting systems

We build and look after the connections that move payments, statements, files and reports — between banks, ERP systems and everything around them.

Custom software

When no product on the market fits, we design and build an application for the job — and we keep it simple enough to maintain.

What we do

Two kinds of work, one team

We build and improve the software that regulated organisations depend on: banks, finance departments, public bodies, and the ERP systems in between. Both sides of our work are done by the same people, so nothing is lost when a business question becomes a technical one.

Software development

We write, test and support software. That covers new applications, changes to systems you already own, links between systems that were never designed to talk to each other, and moving data from an old system to a new one.

  • New applications and services
  • Changes and extensions to existing systems
  • Interfaces between systems
  • Data migration, checking and reporting
  • Support and maintenance after go-live

Finance and ERP consulting

We advise on how finance and ERP systems should be set up and used. This is the knowledge that makes the engineering work: we can read a set of accounts, follow a month-end close, and understand why a control exists before we are asked to automate it.

  • Reviewing how a process works today
  • Choosing between building and buying
  • Designing reports and controls
  • Preparing for an audit or an inspection
  • Helping your team take the work over

Where we are strong

Finance and ERP are our home ground

Many software companies can write code. Fewer understand what the numbers mean. We work in the language your finance team already uses, which shortens every conversation and removes a common cause of mistakes.

Accounting and finance

Chart of accounts, ledgers and journals, month-end and year-end close, reconciliation, tax and VAT reporting, fixed assets, and the audit trail that has to hold all of it together.

ERP processes

Purchase to payment, order to cash, master data, inventory and costing, approvals and permissions, and the reports that management actually reads.

Payments and reporting

Payments and transfers, account statements and bank files, interest and fees, customer and account data, and reporting to supervisors. This is the work we do for banks and for the finance teams that deal with them.

We work in places where the work is checked: banks and finance departments under supervision, and public organisations under audit. That shapes how we build — every change is traceable, and every number can be explained.

Technology

What we build with

We choose technology that your team can still run in five years. That usually means well-established tools, clear documentation, and no dependency that only we understand.

Integration between systems

Connecting an ERP system to a bank, a bank to a reporting system, or a new application to an old one. Web interfaces, scheduled file transfers, message queues and database links — whichever the systems on both sides can support.

Data migration and checking

Moving data out of an old system and into a new one, then proving the two agree. We treat the checking as part of the job, not as something done afterwards.

Reporting and analysis

Reports that match the accounts, produced the same way every time, so two people asking the same question get the same answer.

Automating manual work

Replacing spreadsheets and repeated manual steps with something that runs on its own, records what it did, and tells someone when it fails.

Web applications and services

Applications your staff or your customers use directly, and the services behind them. Built to work on a normal browser, without unusual requirements.

Your data centre or the cloud

Some of our clients cannot move data outside their own building. We build so that the same software can run on your servers or with a cloud provider, and the choice stays yours.

How we work

Four steps, and no surprises

  1. 01

    We listen first

We ask how the work is done today, who checks it, and what goes wrong. We write down what we understood and send it back to you, so any misunderstanding is found early and cheaply.

  2. 02

We agree the scope in writing

You get a clear description of what will be delivered, what will not, and how we will know it is finished. No technical language that hides the meaning.

  3. 03

    We deliver in small steps

You see working software early and often, not once at the end. If a priority changes, we change with it, and you always know where the work stands.

  4. 04

    We hand over properly

Documentation, source code and a walkthrough for your team. You should be able to continue without us — and call us because you want to, not because you have no choice.

Why Panfidea

What is different about working with us

One team for both sides

You do not need a consultant to explain finance to a developer. The same people understand the accounting rule and write the code that applies it.

We are used to being checked

Audits, supervisors and inspections are normal for our clients, so they are normal for us. We keep records because they are needed, not because someone asked.

We write and speak plainly

Our reports and our meetings avoid unnecessary technical words. Many of the people we work with do not have English as a first language, and nobody should have to guess what we meant.

We stay after go-live

The first weeks after a system goes live are when it matters most. We plan for that period instead of treating it as someone else's problem.

Tell us what is not working

A short conversation is usually enough for us to say whether we can help, and to be honest with you if we cannot. There is no cost and no obligation for a first discussion.
